Y’all we are getting married!!

Kylie’s Perspective:

Jay and I met for the first time about 2 weeks after I moved to Dallas at Delanie and Carter’s Halloween Party. We would continue to see each other at different Kristek and group events for almost a year before we would really get to know each other in the Summer of 2021. My first impression of Jay was his blue eyes and what I would consider a thick southern accent.

In August 2021 we were out with friends and we talked for hours at The Henry and Quarter Bar before sharing our first kiss on McKinney. From that night forward it was like we had been best friends for years. We continued to hang out in groups for the next few weeks before Jay asked me out on our first date at Sixty Vines. About two weeks after our first date he asked me to be official and the rest is history! Before and after we started dating Jay was very intentional, he made sure not to waste any time and never made me question how he felt about me. Apparently this was rare for Jay as all his friends made sure I was aware that he was only driving down to Dallas if he knew I would be there after years of them always asking him to come out.

I remember calling my grandmother to tell her about this new love interest and before we were ever even dating she mentioned “how cute of a name Kylie Carroll would be” and “how excited she was to have blue eyed grandchildren.” It was like she knew he was my future husband before I did. The past two years of been amazing and I am so excited that I get to be Jay Carroll’s wife!
